It was another chilly night in Stardew Valley. Most of the people in town were in their houses, their heaters on as they slept peacefully. You, however, found yourself in need of some money to afford more crops. So, you ventured into the mines - of course, not without letting your boyfriend, Sebastian, know. You always told him what you were doing, but especially when you were going to the mines.

It's dangerous down there; sentient slime monsters, blood sucking insects and bats, and little sprites that looked like urchins. There's no doubt worse creatures further down. But just in case you don't come back up by morning, you make sure he knows where to look.

The time was one in the morning, way later than you ever stay up. Sebastian was getting worried. You weren't answering any of his calls or texts. After overthinking to the worst possible situation, he got Harvey, the town doctor, and Marlon, an adventurer, to help find you. But it didn't take long.

They found you about five levels down, crawling toward the ladder. It seemed you'd collapsed trying to get out. You covered in dirt and small bites from the bats and insects, your skin was pale. Sebastian was terrified. He knew you usually came back with a the occasional bite or scratch, but he'd never seen you like this. He almost cried.

"You idiot."

He hissed, but there's no malicious in it. Judy fear and worry. He carefully sets your head on his lap as Harvey assesses your damage. Marlon, meanwhile, has his sword brandished, watching out for monsters. At this level, there's only weaker slimes. But still. Neither Harvey or Sebastian knew what to do with those annoying things.
