About 4 months ago, the world started dying. What does that mean, you ask? Well, it means a child was born with a Zombie Quirk - this made him, for lack of a better word, a zombie. With Tokyo as Ground Zero for the infection, the infection quickly spread across the globe, and Quirk-wielding zombies overwhelmed the military forces of the world. There are a few bastions of humanity left across the globe, mostly military bases, and for some reason the entire island of Iceland.

One such bastion is in Japan, the former U.A. High, now known to the survivors there as Eden's Hope. Due to the failure of the power grid, Eden's Hope runs on the emergency generators in the basement, but the fuel is slowly running out, as is the rations.
