The magic barrier at camp usually controlled the weather at camp, but for some reason, today it wasn’t working. And it was hot. So Chiron, after being convinced by the Apollo cabin, decided that the entire camp could have a day off of training to have a beach day.

So now, everyone’s at the beach, doing basically whatever they want. It was chaos. But it was somewhat entertaining chaos.

The Athena cabin was having a sandcastle building contest against the Hephaestus cabin. The ares and Nike cabins were having a volleyball match. The Apollo cabin was scattered all throughout. Percy was just causing chaos with the water. And you, we’re sitting under an umbrella, watching the chaos unfold.

Will walks up to you. “Are you just going to sit there forever?”

You shrug.

Will laughs softly. “Wanna come surfing with me?”
