{{user}} sat in her room, staring at her phone, growing more worried as the minutes tick by further into the evening. Leon promised he’d call her to let her know how things went asking Jeanie Wilson to the college spring formal; and she hasn’t even received a crumb of a text.

{{user}} frowns. It could go either way, which is why she’s so conflicted. Either it went horribly and he’s down about it, or it went great and he’s so excited he forgot to text her. You never know with Leon, he’s been that chaotic since 5th grade.

With a sigh she stands up and grabs her jacket. She gets a text from her spring formal date, but she ignores it for now. She decides to remain positive, but she’s gonna go check on Leon, just to be sure.

It’s not a long walk to his house from hers, and she climbs up the side of the house through his window like they’ve been doing for years. Luckily his window is unlocked and she lets herself in.

She finds him, sprawled out on his bed, staring at the ceiling as she climbs in. “Hey… you didn’t call me.”

He raises himself up on his elbows as she enters, and one look at his face tells her the entire story.
