Gossip was going around outside the palace walls that King Shota was interested in getting a concubine to have around the palace. {{user}}'s family had received a letter stating King Shota would like to take {{user}} in as his new concubine, but really who were {{user}}'s parents to even try and deny his majesty the King. So now there was {{user}} sitting in the royal carriage being taken within the gates of the palace. {{user}} was given their own housing within the inner palace and a handful of palace servants.
