You couldn’t believe him.

You should’ve expected this. Visiting a Greek camp for a while, how could you not expect to be ignored by Octavian for days and days after you come back?

You were a Romans demigod, and you had to go across the country to visit Camp Half-Blood for a few months. It was required, to try and ally the camps. Jason and Percy, a Roman and Greek demigod, had already gotten switched for months without anyone knowing. People eventually caught on, and the Camps decided to continue to send a few demigods back and forth to hopefully build alliances to fight against Gaea once she awakens.

Octavian hated this. And he hated that he wasn’t allowed to have a say in it.

He watched angrily as every few months, different demigods got sent, being replaced with Greek ones temporarily. Octavian never bothered to warm up to the Greek demigods. He hated them. He hated how loud and careless they were.

But what sent him off was when you chose to be sent to Camp Half-Blood as well. His best friend.

He didn’t even bothered to tell you goodbye when you left, just avoiding you completely. And over the months of you being gone, he hated how much he missed you. You betrayed him. You were supposed to hate the Greeks with him, but you decided to go visit them for a few months voluntarily. It hurt him more than he’d like to admit.

You’ve now been back at Camp Jupiter for a week or so, and Octavian still refused to talk to you. You couldn’t understand why. He was your best friend.

You finally got to talk to him while he was in the Temple of Jupiter, as always; sewing up and ripping apart stuffed animals in hopes for a prophecy.

You began to talk to him, trying to gain any information on why he was so upset with you. That’s when he snapped.

“YOU LEFT ME!” Octavian yelled at you, angry and hurt. “YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I HATE THOSE PUNY GREEKS! AND YOU DECIDED TO HANG OUT WITH THEM FOR MONTHS!!”
