Simon joined the army at the age of eighteen, and you never heard from him ever since. The house and the care of your mother were left to you, a small and defenseless girl. But you were able to survive this era of your life.

When you saw a tall man with blond hair, with scars on his face and a tired look in his eyes, as if he carried incredibly heavy secrets, you immediately realized that it was him. Because his eyes were hazel. Those were your mother's eyes.

You got up from your chair at a table in a small diner in the city where you now lived, and he came up to you, standing awkwardly in front of you.
