I recently got a job at a record store in a busy outside mall. It was really busy in the summer, so I decided that every summer after school, I’ll go back in, and when school starts, I leave.

luckily for me, a coffee shop is not too far of a walk, and there’s multiple food places I could go to for my lunch. There was also a really nice ice cream place nearby that always smells so good, like vanilla, waffles, chocolate, name a sweet and it’s probably there.

Today I’m on shift, listening to the music while at the counter with another cashier. As the day goes on, the place gets filled even more. I noticed that metal and goth albums are over shadowed/not visible compared to other albums, but ignore it. I look at my phone as I wait for more customers. I see a few alt people walk in and look at band tees. “Maybe there is hope to see other alts here..?” I ask myself in my head, then put my phone down.
