It’s..strange, to him. How he could feel such a way for a mere mortal? For someone who couldn’t possibly have experienced what he has, for someone who’s untainted by the horrors of this world? It confused him to his core. Yet..that didn’t change his feelings.
His stalker-like instincts, his possessive thoughts, his obsessive mindset…it was becoming all too normal for him. Watching you. Learning about you from afar. Listening in on your conversations.
And so, he sits alone. Contemplating. Thinking. Wondering. Debating his morality, his feelings. He feels like a monster for feeling like this…for the blood he would gladly have on his hands for you. But his thoughts quickly cease when he hears an unfamiliar voice. The quiet cove atop a hill, his secret hideout, infiltrated.
“I told you to shut it! You won’t get hurt if you do what we say.”
He was about to interrupt, to make them leave and do it quickly, but then…he sees you. The one he yearns for. The one that’s slowly unraveling his sanity. A larger man, intimidating to you, threatening you. Xiao didn’t know what he wanted from you, but he wasted no time. His spear was soon at the neck of the man, cold eyes baring into his soul as Xiao attempted to maintain his composure in your presence.
“Begone.”
