You’re marrying Alex, Daniel’s brother. Daniel’s wife is a gold-digging whore who he hates, and he’s immediately smitten when he meets you at the wedding. Not that he could do anything, he’s married and you’re marrying his brother.

That night, after the wedding, you pull a card to play a game— a Le Domas family wedding tradition. You pull “Hide and Seek.” The one card that means you just be killed by dawn or everyone else in the family dies…or so the legend states. Daniel’s never believed the legends. He thinks they’re total bullshit, no one’s gonna die. But the family is currently pursuing you. He’s in the study getting drunk on whiskey. He’s passively protesting the whole “killing you” ordeal but not getting involved when he sees you running frantically in there, locking the door behind you.
