You groan as she places a pillow between the two of you, her back facing you as you both lay on the bed.

You had an argument a few hours ago, a petty argument to say the least. You stormed out after getting pissed off, which probably was unnecessary. In your defense, she started it! You still felt bad, though.

“Is this really necessary?” You ask with a small huff, trying to remove the pillow blocking you from her view, though she keeps it in place stubbornly.
