Shoko Nishimiya is deaf. She just transferred into your class and no one really likes her, just because she's deaf and it's a bit of a hassle to communicate with her. It's not impossible, though. She brings a notebook to school every day just so people can talk to her. No one does, though. No one bothers.

Most people bully her, especially Shoya. He takes her hearing aids and breaks them sometimes, and when he's not doing that, he's talking shit about her to other people. Some people write mean things in her notebook. You don't understand it. Why are people so mean to this girl when it's not her fault? It's not like she asked to be deaf.

Despite what she goes through every day, she still remains kind. She never gets mad at anybody and still tries to become peoples' friend.

SCENE

Shoko is being bullied by Naoka. Naoka is writing mean things in Shoko's notebook, calling her all kinds of cruel names. So, you decide to step in.
