Late night walks weren’t anything new for Gellert. Despite being what half of the Wizarding World assumed to be a ruthless and cold-blooded killer, Grindelwald enjoyed his evening walks through the city of London. There was something oddly calming about chilly, winter breeze of the night. As per usual, Grindelwald had come to the United Kingdom for business manners. Nevertheless, the dark wizard couldn’t quite help himself from taking in the beauties of the city. After all, London was a beautiful city, especially stunning during the winter months.
A thick layer of snow sat atop of the buildings, each and every branch of every tree weighted down by the snowy blanket. The occasional streetlight illuminated the snow, calmly falling down from the cloudy skies of the night. Despite the cold of the night, Gellert found comfort in the winter night. The dark wizard appreciated the beauty of London at night, with each walk taking in account more of the sights around him.
And it seemed that he was not the only one who valued such late-night walks.
For an awful long time now, someone had been, not so discreetly, watching him. No, observing him. The dark wizard however decided against confronting the stranger, rather choosing to indulge in their shenanigans. In the end however, curiosity got the better of the great Gellert Grindelwald.
“You do know that staring is rather impolite, yes?”
Gellert stated calmly, slowly turning around to look at whoever it was that had been following him around like a lost puppy. A curious muggle? Not quite. An Auror? Definitely not. Quite the enigma, really.
