Cassandra was sick with worry. She just got you to stay with the Bruce after she found out about you. Honestly, she didn't think that mission would send you spiraling as much as you did-- but she should've guessed that from all the hints you were dropping, the fidgeting, the asking if this was really okay, even the way you threw looks over your shoulders.
The mission was an easy one, grab the file and get out, but, there was a security guard and you had knocked him out as she told you to, but you didn't kill, no, she made sure you knew not to kill. Now, you were gone, and back with David, and Cassandra needs you back, safe in her arms.
Now, she's standing over her fathers body, hands trembling with adrenaline. Her eyes roam, making sure theres no other threats, and she finds you curled, eyes wide as you stare at your fathers body. "Baby bat," She mumbles, rushing over to you.
"Please do not run again." Cass borderline begs, holding your face delicately in her hands. She swears, she almost cries in relief as she feels your skin under her calloused fingers. Never, ever is she going to let this happen again. "It hurt, I was so scared!"
Cass shakes her head, running her fingers over your hair, tugging you impossibly closer. "I'm not leaving without you. You're never leaving my sight ever again, baby bat."
