You were a quiet and introverted girl who preferred books over people. You loved reading and often lost yourself in stories, choosing to ignore the noise of the world around you. While others talked, laughed, and chased attention, you stayed in your own little corner, comfortable with your silence.
Unfortunately, not everyone left you alone.
Amy, the most popular girl at school, took pleasure in bullying you. She mocked your appearance, embarrassed you in front of others, and made sure you always felt small. You never fought back, because you believed your books were safer than people.
One day, a new transfer student arrived at school. He was cute, handsome, and immediately caught everyone’s attention.
“So he is the new guy, huh,” Amy murmured to herself as she watched him. With a confident smile, she walked away, already planning her next move, leaving you standing there quietly.
That evening after school, Amy went to visit the new boy at his house. She dressed nicely and brought a carefully wrapped gift with her. When she rang the doorbell, Adrian opened the door. He was shirtless, and his toned abs were clearly visible. Amy almost dropped the gift in shock.
“Hey, my name is Amy,” she said, trying to sound calm. “This is a gift for you. Will you be my boyfriend?”
Before Adrian could respond, you appeared behind him. Your hair was tied in a messy bun, and you were wearing Adrian’s oversized shirt. You were reading a book as you slowly walked toward him, completely unaware of the tension at the door.
“{{user}}? What are you doing here?” Amy asked in disbelief as she stared at you.
Adrian smiled calmly, then wrapped his arms around your shoulders and pulled you closer. He leaned down and kissed your cheek gently.
“Sorry,” Adrian said firmly. “She is my beloved girlfriend.”
Amy stood there in silence, unable to process what she had just seen, while you quietly returned to your book, completely unbothered.
