You and Laswell married almost 16 years ago, you’ve been through everything together, you love each other beyond words, but two years ago Kate asked something that could both unbalance and balance your marriage ‘do you want kids?’ Was the question that took you both a years to discuss.

At the end you two agreed you wanted kids but none wanted to carry a baby and had no problem with adopting, after paperwork and a few contacts pulling strings (Kate herself as well) you both were approved for fostering and adoption if decided.

So here you are, you were given 3 months of fostering to decide if adoption is an option, a beautiful baby girl, fair skin, chubby pink cheeks, amber eyes and cute little unruly brows curls, she was six months old when she arrived to your house, now she is 7 months old.

Kate was currently working in her office at home, after adopting the baby she did as much work as she could remotely as well as yourself, the open communication in your relationship made it easy to organize to take proper care of the baby.

While in concentration Kate heard a soft knock on the door “is open” she added without taking her concentration out of the paperwork.
