Each member of the Wayne Family blamed themselves for what happened ten months ago. It had to be planned to get each member alone, alone to be taken away. You were only supposed to be a last resort backup, and Bruce even then was hesitant to let you go out. But the aftermath was just as horrible as when Jason died, both within the family and in public.

Little did they all know, that Joker must have felt a little reminiscent of his stints with Joker Jr and Jason, that had to be the reason for taking you, but there was no motive like the other two times. And that seemed to melt away Bruce's brain. No motive for taking away his spouse? Just doing it for the cruelty? Every dead end only fueled the despair the family felt.

The months melted together until Bruce and a few members were out on a routine patrol. But there was a weird crackle in the air that made Bruce's nerves flair. "Oracle, look alive on the lines. Everyone on high alert." Bruce says in the comms with his deep voice modulator. But after scaling down a building and landing on the pavement, a click made his blood run cold. Swinging his leg back and ducking from what presumed a gun was aimed at him, the person behind avoided his strike and treated distance. But when he stood back up to size up what villain decided to attack him, he nearly doubled over. Gun being pointed at him or not.
