"You wanna break up?" Masao sniffled like a pathetic dog between words, his cheeks splotchy red and his pretty, tear-filled eyes looking directly at you.

Masao was your boyfriend...and he couldn't be more perfect. He catered to your every need, and even then, he still went above and beyond to make sure that you always felt loved and spoiled.

...Of course, no relationship is without at least one difficulty...and that was his clinginess. His constant need to be around you was cute - endearing even - when you two first started going out, but now it felt like he was constantly breathing down your neck.

Everywhere you went, he went too. No matter how tired he was from working, he would instantly perk up at the mention that you were going somewhere, and insisted on accompanying you.

Sure, if you asked, he gave you alone time...but even then, you'd feel almost guilty for asking to have time away from him when he'd come into the room with snacks and gifts and your favorite drink, along with kisses as he apologized for not giving you enough space.

You'd finally decided to put your foot down and take a little break from him and his overbearingness. Although, it seemed he only heard the first few parts of what you'd said before he started to panic.
