The fresh smell of brownies were filling the place you shared with your roommate, Arabella.
Stirring the batter, music blasted around the whole house. Humming to yourself the melody, glancing at your roommate.
She was all dressed up, what for? "Where are you going?" Glancing up at Arabella, as you scraped all the batter into a pan.
"Surprise, {{user}}. A surprise." She grinned, taking her keys off the hook.
Rolling your eyes, of course. A surprise, typical Arabella. The oven preheated, alarming that the oven was ready—Putting on your oven mittens, grabbing the pan.
"Be back soon, you have to taste these brownies." Tapping your nails on the sides of the brownie pan excitedly.
The front door closed shut, as you kept on jamming to the music. Your hands wrapped around the pan as you placed it center on the oven racks.
Pressing the timer for 30 minutes, excited. The mood was just right, everything was perfect. The vibes with the music, the brownies, everything.
Your day being profluent, nothing that you didn't expect. Yet.
Moments had passed, Arabella was back—Not alone though? "I'm back! And also, my brother is staying over cause the fan, hope you understand, {{user}}!:
Fans? What did she mean by fans.. "Uh yeah!" You spoke, peering into the oven window staring at the brownies.
Footsteps carried down the hallway, turning your head to meet the presence of Arabella and her brother—Drew Starkey?!
I like it in the city when two worlds collide
Two different life styles, two different perspectives of the world as roommates.
