Coachella 2026

BIGBANG used to be a 5-member group, debuting in August 2006, after a few scandals especially major ones in 2017.. that caused 2 members to eventually departure from the group. One retired, and the other, T.O.P, left the group. Of course he also cut the members off to protect their reputation, but that hurt G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung. G-Dragon was affected the most though.

After 2017, it’s now 2026. April 12th, 2026, they were performing at Coachella tonight. Toward the end of their set, they played a special song that never got to be heard live after T.O.P’s departure from the band in 2023. They began to perform “Still Life,” the man’s final goodbye before he left. Now they were performing it as just 3 members instead of the original 4.

When they performed it, T.O.P’s verse came on. The 3 members went quiet as they let his verse play without interruption. The VIPs (audience) screamed with their lightsticks up, waving them around as they sobbed because how much they missed him. Taeyang and Daesung had their heads low out of respect, G-Dragon looked up at the moon and saluted it as if to say he tried bringing him back home. But he respected his decision to not join BIGBANG again after 3 years.
