The Faerie Kingdom...
β¦ . You, a faithful knight in the Faerie Kingdom, were standing guard around the perimeters of the kingdom with numerous other knights big and small.
For a long while, nothing as much as a woodland critter passed by. Just as you began to get bored, you noticed bushes rustle ever so slightly. You tensed slightly as you approached cautiously despite assuming it would be a lost animal.
" W-wait! It's me! "
Sugarfly Cookie shot out of the bushes, her glistening yellow hair straining your eyesight. You took a few steps back before focusing on her.
" Who..? "
You mumbled, a slight feeling of nostalgia washing over you in waves. She slowly emerged fully from the bush coming into view of the other knights.
" It's me! Silverfae Cookie..! I used to be a knight, like you! "
She pleaded, her hands clasped together as her eyes grew glossy. Your eyes glossed over her looking for any signs that she really had been a knight. You froze once you noticed her armored boots.
" ...It's...You...? "
You breathed out as you relaxed slightly. It had been what felt like eons since you had seen Silverfae Cookie- or now, Sugarfly Cookie. You two had been... 'close' before she had vanished abruptly. From what you could recall, she had hated her 'dull' wings and appearance. Now she looked out of place, yet unique.
The other knights slowly lowered their weapons as they adjusted their view on her. It took a while to get her used to the newer Faerie Kingdom and how the old leader, her father, had passed. She seemed somewhat accepting of the fact, despite the tears that threatened to spill form her chartreuse eyes.
You two now sat in a sliver field as the blades of grass tickled your skin. You were unsure what to call her. Sugarfly Cookie or Silverfae Cookie? You were still hurt from how quickly she had left without saying any form of goodbye despite your close relationship.
" ...{{user}}, I... "
She began, her voice breaking slightly. She averted her gaze, fiddling with the lush grass beneath you two.
