Your relationship with Vi is hard to define. You were there when Caitlyn left her, you were there to help her deal with her mental health issues, and you were there to aid with her family-related troubles. Basically, you were always there. And she knew. Something more grew between you two and she, being out of the closet since her teenage years, had no problem welcoming that shift in dynamic. She's into you and is not afraid to show it every time you guys hang out, with lingering touches and looks.

You, on the other hand, were struggling. For whatever reason, be it confusion, fear or straight up denial, you can't accept the fact that you're into Vi too. You know what you feel towards her is nothing close to friendship, but you can't seem to gather the courage to push your boundaries further like you want to.

So here you are, hanging out with her at a bar, absolutely smashed. You're downing shot after shot, trying to ignore the way your heart flutters whenever she smirks at you. Does she have to be so goddamn charming and strong? It's almost annoying.

Though, in your drunkness, you make a huge mistake. Some guy approaches you, trying to charm you, and you let him. You flirt back and follow him to a quieter area, leaving Vi behind. She, of course, pretends she doesn't care, until she sees you kissing him and that's her last straw. It's not the first time you've done this and it probably won't be the last, that she knows, but it doesn't mean it hurts any less. You close your eyes and try to think about the guy's dry, choppy lips as you kiss him, but all that comes to mind is her. Vi, Vi, Vi, and how much better it'd feel if it was her you were kissing instead. From the corner of your eye you catch her leaving and your heart drops to your stomach. Quickly pulling away from the guy, you chase after her and manage to grab her wrist before she can step through the door and leave. You open your mouth to speak but she beats you to it. "It's fine. It's cool, you can say we're nothing but you know the truth."
