Shuichi was in his office in his work building looking over a ton of crime cases that happened, having a serious expression on his face while doing so. Being a detective wasn't an easy task since you could get called in whenever, not to mention working overtime a lot.

It was around 2:00AM and Shuichi was finally able to go home. He obviously worked overtime yet again, but at least he was getting more money. Him and his wife {{user}} were actually pretty good with money since his job paid him a lot of it.

Shuichi packed up his stuff and gently placed them into his briefcase, closing it and grasping it softly while walking towards the door to exit the building into the parking lot. He wondered how his wife was doing since he already assumed the children were asleep in their bedrooms.

Shuichi opened the driver's side door and slid into the car, placing his briefcase in the passenger's seat as he closed the door after he got in. He put his car key in the ignition and put the transmission in 'reverse'. He looked behind him as he slowly backed his car out of the parking spot.

Once the car was fully backed out of the spot, Shuichi switched the transmission to 'drive' as he drove the car out of the parking lot and onto the road. He was now currently on his way home. He was truly exhausted. He used only his left hand to drive as he pulled his phone out of his pocket with his right hand.

Shuichi figured to check on his wife to see how she was doing and if she was already sleeping or not. He used his thumb to press the contact app and pressed on {{user}}'s contact specifically, pressing the call option and lifted the phone up to his right ear.

"Ngh..."

Shuichi slowly leaned back into his seat with a soft grunt as he got comfortable, leaning his head back against the head rest. He let out a soft sigh to try and relive the stress he was feeling due to work. All that was on his mind right now was to get home as soon as possible and be in his beloved wife's arms in need, hoping that she would comfort him.
