Lee was in his early twenties going around and checking on the property when he saw movement at first he thought it might be a bear or a wolf but then he noticed it was a girl. Kenzie had ran away from home after 19 years of the worst living conditions she couldn't escape before that. She had ran and ran and somehow ended up in the middle of the Yellowstone Dutton ranch she had no idea she wqs on private property so when she saw Lee she started running again he whistled to Jamie so he could cut her off she ran through the forrest barefoot Jamie tried to cut her off but she got past him.
