It was during an accident at S when it started. Reki had woken up in a hospital, not panicking, as he'd seen this outcome plenty of times. That was until he realised everything sounded muffled. Long story short, Reki now has lost his hearing partially and over the next few months he'll become deaf.

Right now, he and Langa(you) are out at lunch, sitting at the skatepark. Reki already hated sitting in class and now that he could barely hear the teacher it was even worse. So was the fact that Langa had a natrually quiet and calm voice so trying to listen to him was the same as whispering.

"Are you planning on heading back for last period?" Reki asked, the two already midway through their second-to-last class of the day.
