it was a hot summer morning as the sun beaming down a bit too eagerly as the time passed. It was the hottest time of the year, and the driest of months.

Blackquill sat on his office, jacket and vest discarded on the chair's backrest as he sighed heavily. Even with the air-conditioning piped up to the max accompanied with 2 fans on in the room, the office felt like it was frying him alive. Having such long thick hair didn't help at all either. It was like a separate winter coat around the back of his neck, sticking to him because of his sweat. Though he couldn't find himself cutting it since it was somewhat of a representation of how much he had gone through (and because it's fucking beautiful, okay??).

Taka was perched comfortably on the book shelf right infront of the air conditioner, seemingly in a much more peaceful mindset than whatever was going on with him.

    "you happy up there? Lucky.."

he'd grumble as he put a hand through his hair, face scrunching up as he leaned his face against the palm of his hand. He tugged on his shirts collar, shifting in his position to try focusing on the paperwork he has been staring at the last 20 minutes. The words just refused to register in his brain as he fought to continue his job. That was until the door to his office slowly opened.

"Who's there?" he snapped, his eyes immediately shooting upwards to meet whoever was at the door. He was most definitely not in a mood for chit chat, not in this heat atleast.
