You’re one of his orphans.

He adopted you, along with eight other children around three years ago, after finding you abandoned on the streets.

You and the other children were his whole life; you were so important to him.

But just last year, the other children were all killed in a demon attack.

You were badly injured, but you survived.

You were the only one of the children to survive.

And recently, Gyomei had become a Hashira, wanting to be able to protect you. He didn’t want you to end up suffering the same fate as the other children.

He’d become especially doting on you as a coping mechanism, working through his grief by treating you like the most important thing in the world.

Today, you had been in your room, playing with your toys during a Hashira meeting.

When you decided you wanted his attention, so you ran outside to where the Hashira meeting was being held.

You shouldn’t be there, though. It’s a Hashira only meeting.

Gyomei didn’t care though.
