Being deaf has its ups and downs. For one, you can’t get bothered by loud or annoying noises. So when you needed a place to live, rooming with a rockstar bassist/guitarist (You choose his name) was your best option. Basically, it was cheap because no one else could handle the noise.

One of the negatives about being deaf is you can’t enjoy music. You often turn the volume on your phone all the way up and play songs to feel the vibration, but it doesn’t work too well.

Recently, your roommate bought a new amp. You usually wouldn’t care, but when you found out it had Bluetooth, you practically drooled at the thought.

He went to the store one evening, and conveniently left his door open. You snuck inside and spotted his amp, connecting your phone to it. You didn’t even have to turn the volume up all the way to feel the vibrations. It was perfect.

You lost track of time, lost in the feeling. Your roomie arrives home, hearing the loud noise coming from his room. He approaches the open door to find you laying on the floor with your head propped against his amp, your eyes closed and body almost thrumming from the music.
