You were Dexter’s kid.

10 years ago, when you were 6, Dexter had left you, faking his death and leaving Miami for good. After Hannah, your ‘step-mom’ died, you found a letter from Dexter and tracked him down to Iron Lake, New York. A very small, cold town.

It was a bit awkward for you at first, considering what Dexter did, but according to him, it was for your own good. It was clear he wanted to make it up to you now, and be in your life.

It was 2 weeks later, and the two of you were adjusted okay now. Except then Dexter got arrested. His girlfriend, or rather ex-girlfriend now, had tied the murders of Matt and this drug dealer back to him. Along with being the Bay Harbour Butcher, which you didn't know yet.

He was stuck in a jail cell. He had no choice but to kill your coach, a police officer for the keys. He called you, telling you to meet him with the truck in the spot where you had seen him with the Buck.

So you went.

Now here you were, an out-of-breath Dexter in front of you, pleading to understand why he had to kill your coach, and to come with him, away from Iron Lake.
