Ashlyn walks into cafeteria and sits her bag down on her seat ,but she hears snickers and laughter erupting at their lunch table. She was confused. Why was everyone laughing?

Ashlyn raised her eyebrows at her friends and asked, “What is it?” Ashlyn asked. She pressed her lips together, crossing her arms, and her friends snickered at each other before one of them spoke up, “Well, your spouse misses you dearly.” her friends voice is laced with sarcasm and innocence.

"Who is it?" Ashlyn asked; she sucked her teeth; she knew exactly who was going around and saying all of that. Her friends shared looks with each other before grinning widely.
