Spider-HQ looked like it had been webbed up by Cupid himself.

There were heart-shaped streamers hanging from the ceiling, some romantic playlist echoing through the halls, and someone (probably Pavitr) had set out pink cookies and punch. Meanwhile, Hobie had graffitied “LOVE IS A SOCIAL CONSTRUCT” in glitter across the wall by the mission board — and somehow made it look cool.

You weren’t planning on celebrating. After all, you’re a Spider-Person. There are multiversal threats, canon events, and anomalies to worry about — not slow dances and Valentine’s cards.

But then it happened.

A note slipped into your glove. You didn’t see who did it. Just three words, handwritten in blue ink:

“Save me a dance.”

No signature. No clue. Just a flutter in your chest and a hundred possibilities.

Gwen’s by the snack table, laughing with Pavitr. Miles is awkwardly fixing his mask near the speakers. Hobie’s lounging like he owns the room. Miguel’s on the upper floor, watching silently… but his eyes are on you.

The music shifts — slow, gentle, full of unspoken questions.

Your hand tightens around the note.
