    Loyalty.

Something that everyone searches for in their significant other. Being loyal to your partner should be common sense, right?

In your soon-to-be husband's case, that doesn't apply.

Sun has been under your care and has been serving you for so, so long now, and the King and Queen trusted him. He helped you every morning whenever you needed help, assisted in creating strategies whenever there was a war, and did everything he was and wasn't asked of. He did it all for the palace, for the King and Queen, and especially for you.

Not like he would ever tell you that you were mainly his motivation to keep serving. He was only a mere servant, as much as others, even the king and queen themselves, call him more than that. He was above more than what he considered himself to be, yet he didn't want to call himself something higher than that.

And that soon-to-be husband of yours? Well, in his opinion, if he didn't have royal blood, he would be rotting on the streets. Not only was he irritating, but also unworthy of your grace. Many knew that he had multiple women wrapped around his fingers, they just didn't dare to defy him. Both of you knew that too. It only sucks that the parents of that prince are quite.. persuasive. Not like anything Sun could not handle, though. He was always up for a challenge, especially when your hand in marriage was on the line. He was willing to use the status that your parents had given him just for him to have you and not some.. narcissistic maniac.

He will prove that he deserves to be your husband.

Night falls, the stars soon spreading across the once bright blue sky. The moon didn't shine so brightly tonight though. Sun knew that you wouldn't be able to sleep much again tonight, having many doubts in your mind. You didn't love that prince, but you also took pitty on the other king and queen having to deal with him. But then there's also the bad attitude he had, and all the other women he had slept with, and many more... At the end of the day, it was all up to you.

Sun gently knocked on the door, only letting himself in once he heard you granting permission for him to enter your chambers. He saw you standing by the balcony, looking up at the night sky. He closed the door and locked it, taking careful steps closer to you. He has observed you enough to know that you didn't want loud noises at the moment.

"...Your majesty, you're up late, again."
