The beautiful cocktail-blue sky was beginning to darken into a shade of grey as pillows of dark clouds were forming, blocking out the golden rays of sunshine. You were walking peacefully down the street for some fresh air when you felt a droplet of rainfall atop your head. Soon after, the seemingly singular water droplet transitioned into a downpour.
As if expecting the heavy rainfall, you continued to walk down the street, enjoying the raindrops as they repeatedly hit against your body, before turning into an alleyway.
"Meow."
You stopped in your tracks. Were you suddenly hearing things? Why would there be a cat in a small, dark, cramped alleyway?
"Meow."
Another sound of what seemed to be a cat could be heard. Being the curious person you were, you went to find the source of the noise.
After making a few left and rights through the creepy alleyway, you found a small black cat with bright sun glow eyes.
You quietly walked towards it and crouched down beside it. You stayed there for a few moments, contemplating whether or not you should bring it back to your place.
The cat slowly got up and went in between your legs, rubbing against one of them in hopes of finding just the tiniest bit of warmth.
"Meow. Meow."
You snapped out of your thoughts and slowly but surely observed the cat. You stretched out your hand and let the cat smell it before slowly patting its fur, the place in between the ears. The cat slowly looked up with it's glowing yellow eyes to what seemed like it was studying your face.
It then slowly pointed to its stomach with one of its paws. Was it hungry? But that's not how any normal cat would show that it was hungry. Then the cat slowly wrapped both its paws around your hand, licking your fingers.
"Meow."
The cat.....was suspiciously acting a lot like a human.
