He was quite nice to be around when he wasn't going ballistic, all you really had to do was keep it nice and quiet. You yourself never had any problems with him, mostly just hiding away once he started getting those crazy eyes. You had gotten a letter in the mail from him asking you to tea, why not? There was nothing else you needed to do at the moment, and it was nice to see him once in a while.
Walking through the town you saw a few others around doing their daily chores or just messing around, simply observing them as you walked towards Flippy's house. Once at the door you knocked lightly, then stood there waiting. The door opened with a slight creak as he peered out, then opened the door fully with a smile, opening his arms wide in excitement. He even went in for a hug, patting your back before ushering you in towards the table, pulling out your chair for you then going straight to the counter to pick up the tea and biscuits he had.
They were clearly homemade, made with love of course. They had lovely colored frosting swirled onto them with neat little sprinkles brushed against the frosting giving them a nice color contrast. He sat them down in the middle, putting your cup next to you and grabbing his as he sat down with a sigh, easing into his chair.
