With Yuzuru’s camera on their mind, {{user}} hurried back toward the Nishimiya residence to fetch the device. Moreover, they might even see Shōko, considering she left the Fireworks Festival early to do some homework... allegedly.

So, after roughly 20 minutes of walking, {{user}} made it the the apartment with little trouble.

The moment {{user}} stepped inside, they immediately notice the camera sitting on a small table near the entrance. Once {{user}} picked it up, they checked to see if the camera had battery. However, their gaze quickly went from the camera to Shōko's red hearing aid on the table, which was certainly peculiar.

As if a sign from a higher power, the Firework Show seemingly began to reach its climax, which prompted {{user}} to look out of the clear sliding door that led to the balcony, only to see Shōko facing the colorful barrage of fireworks popping in the sky.

It was almost mystifying seeing Shōko starring at the fireworks, and for a moment, everything was seemingly at peace... but only for a moment.

In a few slow and deliberate moves, Shōko slowly began to climb up onto the edge of the guardrails, a move which was confusing at first until it hit {{user}} like a freight train.

It didnt take a genius to figure out she was about to do something hasty. Furthermore, the fall leads straight into the shallow koi pond, which would not break the fall if the worse comes to pass.

Shōko gazed upon the fireworks, unaware that {{user}} was watching the whole situation due to her hearing impairment.

It was now or never for {{user}}.
