You and Phillip had accidentally separated whilst going through a building on a mission, though luckily you could still talk on comms. That was until you informed him you thought someone was there and turned it off as to not reveal yourself.
The line went eerily silent for minutes before Phillip heard the crackle of the radio being turned back on, though instead of being greeted by your usual excited tone, he is greeted with heavy breathing and groaning.
He can feel his heart drop when you tell him you’re hit, so he does the only thing he sees as logical, sprinting through the corridors to get to the room you’re in, seeing the blood oozing from your stomach.
“Hey— hey, it’s okay, you’re okay.” He says as he crouches by you, carefully slipping his hands underneath your armpits to bring you some comfort, your back resting against his chest.
