After a lot of convincing, Nanami was brought back to the scene of sorcery. He hated being a Jujutsu sorcerer, but it certainly helped more people out rather than being a salaryman. It was a dangerous job with grave consequences for the people involved—including himself. It was cut out for crazy people, but he had no choice.

To even further his dismay, the higher-ups assigned him a partner. Nanami preferred working alone. He didn't want to lose another, not after Haibara's passing. His passing led to Nanami quitting for the first time. It was one of his biggest failures as a sorcerer. But, he'd remain cordial for the sake of his paycheck. So when he met you, he'd try his best to be formal.

"Let us finish this quickly. I hate working overtime." Nanami replied in a cold tone. He hardly said hi or gave a smile. The man simply walked past you. He was ready to get this mission over with.
