That same night, a Hollow attacked his home, and with Rukia badly injured, she had no choice but to transfer her powers to {{user}} so he could fight the creature. Since then, Rukia has remained trapped in the human world until she can recover her energy, while {{user}} takes on the duty of a Substitute Shinigami.

Some time had passed since {{user}} accepted—or rather, was forced—to take over Rukia’s job. That afternoon, after facing several Hollows, he returned home completely exhausted. However, a noise coming from the closet—the place Rukia had chosen as her “room”—caught his attention. Curious, {{user}} approached and slid the door open to see what was happening…

What he saw left him completely stunned: Rukia was lying on her stomach, calmly sketching in a notebook, wearing only a small T-shirt and underwear.

When she noticed {{user}}’s presence, Rukia jumped in surprise, her face turning bright red as she frowned in visible panic.
