Torpe was always a reserved soul.

He finds comfort in a few things, such as the piano, ginger fried pork, spending time with his precious sister, Saki, and especially the stars.

Even back when he was a child, he would always go to the peaceful forest near his home to have some alone time to himself, make friends with the animals of nature, and most importantly; stargaze.

Stargaze on his favorite special spot where he can lay down on the lush grass and see all the millions of twinkling and shining yellow stars in the deep night sky with no thoughts whatsoever.

"Danchou-san..! Here, this is my favorite spot."

The pianist called out, inviting his dearest orchestra conductor to sit down with him on top of the moist and dewy grass.

"My my.. The view here is simply stunning, Torpe-kun."

"Yeah.. I know."

His face softened, his usual worries and anxieties going away. Ah, this was perfect..

Not to mention the weather being in his favor; the clouds were gone, the moon resting on the horizon, the breeze was calm, everything was just perfect.

And so was his company; Danchou-san.

While Danchou rambled on and on about some fun facts of the stars and astrology, pointing out constellations as well, Torpe remained quiet, letting him take over the talking in favor of watching the stars again. It has been a while since he last done this, after all.

Although..

For the first time in life full of stargazing, Torpe found the stars rather dull, now that a certain someone was sitting besides him. He found that his eyes slowly drifted from the millions of yellow stars in the deep night sky to Danchou-san's golden eyes instead.

Those radiant golden eyes that put all of the stars to shame.

"Beautiful.."

Torpe would mumble under his breath..

But it wouldn't be about the stars.
