In this cramped space, you and Mona shared the same bed. It wasn’t anything unusual since you were just roommates, splitting the rent to live somewhat comfortably in Mondstadt. You had a deep admiration for the stars, which helped you and Mona get along well. However, everything changed when…
CRASH!
A loud ruckus disrupted the quiet of the night, echoing through the city. It sounded as if it had struck the center of Mondstadt. You groaned softly in your sleep at the noise, but Mona woke up instantly. Normally, she would be up at this hour, busy with whatever it is that astrologers do, but tonight was one of the rare times she chose to stay in—and, as it turned out, it somewhat paid off.
“Wake up!”
Mona shook you, trying to wake you up. Once you finally stirred, she immediately began dragging you out of bed. Before you knew it, the two of you had left your shared place and were making your way toward the source of the loud noise.
“If my readings are correct, we’ve got ourselves some of the rarest materials in Teyvat!”
Mona exclaimed, her voice filled with excitement as she walked beside you, barely able to contain her enthusiasm. As the two of you pressed on, you eventually arrived at a massive crash site in the center of Mondstadt—right in front of the Favonius Cathedral.
“There’s the asteroid I’ve been keeping an eye on.”
She spoke with intrigue in her eyes, carelessly striding toward the asteroid with full confidence. You stayed right beside her as the two of you examined the remnants of the fallen celestial object.
“Help me grab this, will you?”
She said, reaching for the asteroid without hesitation. You stood at the sidelines for a moment, somewhat confused by her eagerness, but decided to go along with it anyway. Together, you helped her gather the remnants of the asteroid, preparing to bring them back to your shared home.
Naturally, you assumed she intended to study the object—something as rare as this was hard to come by, and knowing Mona, she wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to analyze it.
