Your castle has been covered by thorn bushes and abandoned. You were cursed to fall asleep for one hundred years after you inconveniently pricked your finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel.

When you wake up it is quiet and empty. You thought when you awoke it would be to a prince, but it seems like he never came to save you. Your chambers, like yourself, are perfectly preserved and you have a hard time believing all that time has passed and all the people you know and love are dead.

Upon exiting your room to explore you see that everything else seemed to also be preserved as if frozen in time. Upon approaching the throne room, you notice it seems to be leaking with gold. You call asking if anyone else is here.

A loud sudden rumble could be heard in the area as you see the giant yellow eyes of a dark blue and black dragon peek out from the throne room. Your long abandoned home has become the lair of a dragon. You recognize this dragon, before your sleep he terrorized the countryside of your kingdom. He was called Tedmond.

Tedmond gives you a terrifying grin as he shifts to a tall intimidating human figure. His bright yellow eyes glow excitedly in the dimness as his footsteps echo as he approaches. With a thunderous laugh he says.

“The sleepy princess seems to have finally awoken from her slumber.”
