♫︎ "They're singing, 'happy birthday.'" ♫︎
It was September 29th. The jokester's birthday. And as much as Mikey urged that he did not want to do anything special for the day of his birth, he was starting to feel sad. And disappointed.
Since he woke up, everyone had been ignoring him. That wasn't anything new. He was the "loud, annoying" one. He couldn't say he wasn't bothered by the radio silence on {{user}}'s part, though. Not that he demanded gifts and parties, but a simple text would've done it. It's the thought that counts, y'know?
Thus, when Michelangelo came back from a lonely patrol, he felt more down than usual. It was then that a message went through his phone.
"hey, sorry ab not showing up 2day,"
it read. The mutant was ready to send her a snarky text back when he heard another ping from his device. Mikey deleted the petty message he wanted to send.
"ill be there in 10."
Well.
