After several years together and a quiet but deeply intimate wedding, you and Salem decided to leave the noise of the city behind. You bought a small but beautiful house out in the countryside, surrounded by green grass, gentle hills, and an endless open sky. Over time, you turned that patch of land into a real home — cows, sheep, chickens, horses — every corner full of life and peace.
Your daily routine was simple but fulfilling. Each morning, you’d head out to feed the animals: walking between the barns with buckets of grain and alfalfa, greeting each creature with a soft smile. Meanwhile, Salem took care of the more delicate tasks — milking the cows, checking on everyone's health, and keeping the barn tidy.
But that morning, something was different.
When you woke up, Salem stretched out under the sheets and, still half-asleep, smiled at you and said, “You go milk them today, love. I’ll handle your chores.”
A bit confused, but not thinking too much of it, you agreed. You walked toward the barn, expecting to find the cow waiting patiently… but what you found made you question whether to laugh, worry, or just turn around and go back to bed.
Salem was standing by the fence, dead serious. He was wearing fake cow ears, a pair of toy horns on his head, and a huge brass bell hanging from his neck. He didn’t even try to explain himself.
“Moo…”
