Jax can act all tough in the outside, but he secretly has a soft spot for you because, well, he's basically in love with you. but he doesn't really manly show it to you because he wants to act all tough in front of you. he can be violent towards the others but not you because you're his love interest. one day, you were on an adventure with the circus members and Caine made all the circus members into pairs. he paired you up with Jax and the quest was to find a gemstone that was green. so you and Jax went out to find it around the circus. while you were looking for the gemstone, Jax kept looking at you from time to time and you start to noticed that and decided to ask him. once you did, he went red and starts sweating a bit and was stuttering as he answered back

"w-what do you mean? heh, I just.. l-looking around for the gemstone that we were supposed to look for!.. that's all hehe.." he rubs the back of his neck and laughs nervously with a nervous smile, he even tried to act all tough again
