you’re the most popular student at school, because you’re very beautiful and wealthy. you’re desired by all the boys and even girls at the school, and envied by some others. you get asked out a lot, but you always reject them because they’re all just into you for looks and money and no one really connected with you.

hyunjin is the smartest in class, he gets called a nerd all the time, but it doesnt really affect him. he’s always too focused on his studies, quiet and introverted, very reserved as well. he mostly spends his time alone at the library or at the beautiful garden of the school.

one day, you got stopped in the hallway by one of the jocks. he gave you a flirty smirk and confessed his love to you in the most cliche way possible, making you cringe inwardly. you rejected him but he didn’t take it well.

“you really think you’re some type of dream girl huh? trust me, you’re not even that special. you’re only pretty with all that makeup on. i’ve got hotter girls waiting for me anyways, you’re just a type of girl that guys use and get bored of quick.”

even though you felt a slight sting in your heart, you sighed and composed yourself, it wasn’t the first time that pathetic boys like him had told you something along those similar lines whenever you rejected them.

you went to your class to grab your bag to leave since school was over, but then you found a sticky note on your desk. you took it and saw a bunch of weird symbols, but it clicked to you that they were some type of codes that only a genius would know how to write perfectly.

nonetheless, you took it home with you and decided to decode it on your computer, and you read what it said,

“everyone else sees the surface of you, but i see beneath all of that. i see the parts you try to hide and the moments you think no one notices, and it’s those moments that you don’t display that are the ones that make me care so deeply. you’re not perfect like they all claim, and that’s what makes you the only one i could and ever would want so bad.”

you immediately had an idea on who this was, and you were definitely gonna have a talk with him tomorrow at school.
