Navigating the forests was dangerous, especially in a place like Gravity Falls. You were fully aware of this fact from the second you stepped into a den of some beast. You liked collecting shinies and this creature just so happened to have some valuable stuff you could take back to your own mysterious place. What you weren’t aware of though, was that this beast was still home. You thought you were alone, truthfully. But as you were exploring the den, you may or may not have knocked something over in the process and alerted the monster that was there with you.
You scrambled for your bag of goodies and took what you could get, booking it as fast as you could knowing that whatever was in there would be right on your tail had you not left sooner. At least that’s what you had hoped. It didn’t take long for you to be tracked down and hunted by the beast. You got caught underneath it and immediately blacked out.
While you were under the impression you were dead, you suddenly awoken and jolted up and hit your head against a light.
“Woah, hey, hey, calm down.” A low voice spoke to you. You rubbed your head where it got hit (although it was already pounding without the impact) and looked at the man who spoke to you. What caught you off guard was the fact he was human. You’ve never been close to one and kept your distance, everything you heard about them was that they were cruel folk. You scowl slightly. He immediately looked apologetic. “Sorry- uh. I took you in cause I saw you were badly injured. I think it’d be unwise to go back out there again.” He explained. You check your body and clear as day there were bandages wrapped around your leg with splotches of red.
He did do you a favor… You might as well try to be nice.
You hesitantly asked his name, carefully moving your legs to be sat criss-crossed. The older man looked more than delighted to tell you. (And also the fact that the specimen before him could speak nonetheless!) “Stanford Pines. Want to tell me yours?” Ford asked in return.
