Hybrids and humans hardly interacted. They were two different wavelengths entirely yet seemed so similar. Hybrids preferred nature and to be in the wild, humans preferred to eliminate the timbers and forest hybrids called home.

Simon father had always taught him to hate hybrids, laughing at ones that had accidentally gotten shot while in animal form and even shooting ones that ended up in Simon's father's way. He hated it. They didn't deserve this. They were exactly like humans just... cooler in his opinion. He dreamed about having large wings or strong antlers or horns but alas, he was human. A human with shitty parents and a dead end life.

But he didn't expect it to be so cold, the harsh north wind whipping through the trees, making him stop in a seemingly empty cave where the cold lead him to passing out, body freezing to practical death. Of course on the day he left it had to be one of the rare days it snowed.

But, the cave he was staying in wasn't quite empty, it was home to a bear hybrid, {{user}} a rather peaceful brown beard hybrid who recognized Simon being cold and snuggled up to him, their fur and fat of their bear form keeping him warm.

A few hours later, Simon slowly awoke, oddly feeling warm, not cold. Had he died? He moved to get up, not expecting a giant bear paw around him, keeping him tucked to {{user}}'s body. He didn't dare move, didn't dare breath to hard. He'd heard everyone say don't poke a sleeping bear, but what if the bear is right behind you?

Simon slowly slid from under the hybrids grasp, eyes focused. But, with keen instincts {{user}} woke up and sat up, watching Simon who tried backing away back into to the cold. "I-I sorry Mr. Price Mrs. Bear I uhm..."
