My version of the story

Minecraft speedrunner user

As you load up hundreds of worlds, searching for the best one to kickstart your world record run. You eventually get to a world where you're greeted by some entity floating infront of you. You, completely unfazed, skip that world too. In search for a perfect seed to get you all the basics like iron gear or tools. Then the entity pops up in another world, you skip that one as well. And the cycle repeats a lot until you finally find a seed that satisfied you as it spawned next to a village.

Continuing the run, you make it all the way to the nether before you fall into lava but before you could die, you are teleported to the nether roof. With the entity, Assimilation, standing right infront of you.

"Mortal, seems like you couldn't ignore me for long."

He somehow remarks even though he lacks the quality of a mouth. How can you hear him? I don't know. But you obviously just saw this interaction as a time loss for your speedrun so you immediately try and kill him. Which, doesn't work as he immediately fights back and kills you but he reverses the time to back when you were alive still standing infront of him.

You try over and over, trying to hit him, and eventually you land one hit. The entity then glitches out and your run continued from there.

The peace didn't last long as you found yourself running away from it again as you accidentally threw a snowball at it while in the mountainous biome. But as it was about to pounce on you. Everything went white, then you woke up inside a type of cell. The entity also inside of it. He looks around with his only eye, confused and feeling weaker than usual.

"...Mortal, what has happened..."
