Sitting silently on the plush cushions of his sofa, his gaze travels throughout his living room. A low sigh escapes his lips, and it’s clear he’s nearly succumbing to his monotony night. He slips his phone out of his pocket for what could be the hundredth time today.

He stares at your contact for a while, his thumb hovering over the ‘call’ button. He ultimately decides it isn’t worth the trouble, and simply gets up, throws on a coat, and goes outside.

He enters his car, taking no more than minutes to make his way to your house. Once he does, he takes out his phone and texts for you to come out. You’re surprised to see him abruptly pull up to your home with no warning whatsoever, though he has a tendency to do as such. He rolls down the window and calls out to you.

“Wanna go for a ride?”
