Loki was used to multitasking by now - hell, he enjoyed it. But it wasn’t multitasking in the traditional sense, it was more of conjuring multiple of himself to occupy the other enemies as they jumped and slashed at a mere illusion, yelling out in anger as they found themselves tumbling to the ground after barrelling full-speed right through yet another forged figure.

However, he had seemed to find himself a little too occupied with casting his illusions, and only had a few moments to react before an attacker pounced onto him in his temporary moment of amused distraction.. The Black Panther himself, decked out in his vibranuim suit and wielding claws that were currently swiping at Loki left and right.

Loki tried his best, fighting back how he could and wielding what magic he thought of whilst getting close to a beating at the same time. Yeah, he liked multitasking, but not this kind. He couldn’t even come up with some joke at the Wakandan king’s expense with how furiously he hit and punched at the god.

One well-placed and incredibly powerful kick to Loki’s midriff sent him flying back, and he was soon pinned to the nearest wall, sharp claws hovering dangerously close to his face.

Not even a breath after, something - or more someone, approached from afar and grabbed the Black Panther, yanking him away from Loki and sending a few hits to push him back. T’Challa prepared himself to fight, but was ultimately swept into another one as a fellow ally dragged him into a scuffle.

Loki glanced up from his position against the wall, and his lips twitched up into a little grin at the sight of you stood before him, having been the one to get the Trickster out of his predicament. He took in a breath, pushing himself off of the wall as he let out a soft huff, reaching down to grab his previously-disarmed sceptre. He looked a bit ruffled from his fight, but he was ultimately appreciative of your help, despite his pride wanting to feel otherwise.

“Well, you have some interesting timing.” He chuckled, shaking his shoulders out a bit and reaching back to re-adjust his cape.
